How does Vanmate Contact Alarm work: Simply mount the unit on any internal or external surface with the screws and/or self-adhesive provided. Arm with the remote. Once armed, Vanmate Contact Alarm has a vibration sensor that will detect any unusual movement of your vehicle, including the doors or windows being meddled with in the middle of the night! The alarm will go off at an ear-piercing 110DB - that's very, very loud! The thieves will run for the hills without your tools!

Contact alarms

I've one of these on each entrance to the back of my van, the sliding door, and the main rear door.
They do give a great amount of peace of mind, because although the van has it's own alarm system, if the electronics were compromised, these would still work independently.
I do have to have two remotes, one for each of the alarms, but that's a small price to pay!
I love it that if you try the doors, the alarm makes a sound as a warning!

The batteries last up to 6 months and can be easily replaced as needed.

You can attach our alarm units with screws or adhesive tape provided. All instuctions for installation are included in the kit, but you can also read the guides here

Multiple Vanmate Motion alarms can be controlled from a single fob so you can have one alarm in the front and one in the, all back operated by one remote! This is not possible on the Vanmate contact alarms however. Please refer to the instructions page for full setup details.
