Can I control both the Motion Alarm and the Contact Alarm with the same remote fob?
No. The Vanmate Motion Alarm and Vanmate Contact Alarm operate on different systems and cannot be paired to a single remote. Each alarm comes with its own dedicated fob, and you will use two separate remotes to arm or disarm both devices.
Do the alarms work together as one system, or do they operate independently?
They operate independently, giving you layered protection from different types of theft. The Motion Alarm detects movement inside the van, while the Contact Alarm triggers when a door, window, or panel is tampered with. Together, they provide full-spectrum security but function as standalone units.
How does the additional siren integrate with the Motion Alarm?
The additional siren plugs directly into the Vanmate Motion Alarm to increase the volume and coverage of its alert - making it much harder for a thief to ignore. It does not connect to the Contact Alarm.
